Personal Work
Creature Design is another interest of mine. In this project, I challenged myself to create new creatures using three existing animals. In the first hybrid, I used a Black-Backed Jackle, Bearded Dragon, and a Bearded vulture. In the second hybrid, I used a Western Gorilla, Tufted Puffin, and a Star Tortoise.
For this project, I remade Beatrix Potter's story "Tom Kitten." In my rendition, Tom is a human boy adopted by a Bar-maid Mother cat. Tom and his adoptive siblings get their weapons taken by a goose hydra, much like how the geese took the kittens' clothes in the original. Tom wants to be like his adoptive family, so he wears a cat Kigurumi all the time and wants to get the weapons back to prove his strength.
When I'm not working on "ILK," I do some personal art in my free time. A lot of times, I'm testing out one-shot concepts or doing pieces for friends and family. Occasionally I do fan-art of shows and works that I enjoy or draw my friends' characters to support them.
